Take the Wheel is an online, self-paced, on-demand course designed to help you build a calmer, more grounded relationship with your emotions—without judgement, shame, or overwhelm. If you struggle with anxiety, emotional ups and downs, or feel like your emotions are either too intense or completely shut down, this course will help you make sense of what’s happening and give you practical tools to respond in ways that actually work. Your emotions make sense—even when they feel overwhelming—and you can learn how to navigate them with more confidence and clarity. Grounded in evidence-based Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), this course is divided into three clear, easy-to-follow modules: Module 1: Getting to Know Your Emotions Understand what emotions are for, why they can feel so intense at times, and the factors that influence how you feel. Module 2: Building Emotional Stability Learn how to create strong emotional foundations using DBT-informed skills, including the ABC skill, and the PLEASE skill to support you in taking care of the body you’re in. Module 3: Coping When Emotions Surge Develop practical ways to manage overwhelming moments, including an introduction to crisis survival skills, the TIPP skill, and self-soothing using your senses. Across the course, you’ll build a toolkit of strategies to help you pause instead of react, feel more steady in your day-to-day life, and respond to emotions in ways that feel more in control and aligned with who you want to be. No prior knowledge is needed, and you can move through the course at your own pace, returning to the tools whenever you need them. This isn’t about getting rid of emotions—it’s about learning how to work with them, so you can start taking the wheel with greater self-compassion and confidence.
