FAQs
What will it cost me?
Individual Counselling and Psychotherapy sessions (including sessions delivered remotely via video or telephone) are £65 a session. DBT informed work will be £80 a session.

How often will I need to come?
Sessions usually take place weekly however if you had a different frequency in mind then please contact me and we can discuss whether I can accommodate this.
How many sessions will I need?
This varies from person to person however if you have been recommended to have a particular number of sessions (e.g. 6 sessions) then this can be accommodated.

Is there parking available?
Unfortunately, all of the office car parking spaces are allocated therefore there is no parking available onsite. There are plenty of options for free parking on the roads surrounding the office. Please contact me prior to your appointment if you have limited mobility as I will be able to arrange a space for you on the office car park.

Is the office wheelchair accessible?
The counselling room is located on the ground floor and accessible to wheelchair users.

Can I bring someone with me?
Clients are welcome to be accompanied to sessions, however their guest must be seated in the waiting area during the session.

What do I do when I arrive for my session?
When you arrive for your session I will be there to greet you at your session time. I will let you into the building and show you to the counselling room. Please do not ring the bell until the time your session is due to begin as this may disturb the end of another clients session.

What If I can't attend my session?
Please contact me via phone or email if you cannot attend your session. Clients are asked to give a minimum of 48 hours notice to cancel or rearrange sessions. If less notice is given then you will still be expected to cover the cost of your session. Sessions not attended without prior contact regarding cancellation are charged in full.

What do I do if I am struggling to pay for my sessions but I want to continue with therapy?
Please speak to me, I will do my best to help!
